Refinancing VA Loans - has anyone done it?

We have a VA loan. We have been getting phone calls from numerous companies offering to refinance it at much lower cost. Finally, I made an appt to discuss all the details with the loan officer who will come to our house later this week.

Has anyone refinanced their VA loan?

The more I think about the phone conversation, the more I think that this has to be some kind of scam. The agent wouldn't provide the interest rate or give me any info. She just kept saying the loan officer will discuss everything when he comes over. TIA!

i agree it seems fishy. what company/bank is the loan officer with?

It's AmeriGroup Mortgage and they are with Mortgage Investors Corporation.
