Schools like Columbia but cheaper and easier to get into

Are there any? Thinking in a city (does not have to be NYC sized, but not a small town), but its own campus, large school.

When you said schools like Columbia, I thought you meant the Core Curriculum and Great Books program.
You're just looking for a university in any city.

But probably not cheaper. And probably also not that much easier to get into.

So... it's got that urban vibe though. And Boston is a better college town regardless.

BC is not in a city.

Try BU Merit scholarships if you have stats.
You could get free or half tuition.

City College, which is a few blocks from Columbia. Even has gothic architecture.
