Did anyone watch the LCPS admin "discussion" yesterday? I felt like they were all reading from scripted bullets provided by legal. It was terrible. I don't even think the questions were from real parents.
As someone who is fairly new to LCPS, is this the norm? |
Spence is new to LCPS. I don't remember this being done before. |
I’ve had an LCPS student for 11 years and have no idea what you are talking about. |
LCPS administration had a chat for back to school. Since you're the expert - it seems odd you'd miss the 200 emails that were sent about it. Typical Loudoun County parent. |
My kids are teens. What could possibly have been said in the chat that I need to know? You are in for a long ride if you are going to pay attention to all of these things. Good luck. |
What was the specific topic OP? Something controversial? You mention legal… |
So our mine. I guess sexual assault is something I care about. But you do you. |
The questions were submitted ahead of time. Did you honestly think they would rehash the incidents from 2021? I suspect this is not a sincere post. |
Did something new happen? I’m well aware of what happened before. Maybe send your kids to Cornerstone instead. |
She said “from legal,” meaning she thinks all responses were run by or crafted by the district’s attorneys to ensure they were worded in a way that wouldn’t be problematic. It was likely just a general state of the district thing. |
You’re still hung up about an incident years ago involving a single perpetrator who is now incarcerated that was poorly managed by an administrator who was dutifully fired? Or are are you talking about the other sexual assault cases at places like Woodgrove HS that parents seem to ignore because “boys will be boys?” |
Seriously. The arrogance and selective outrage of some right-wing parents have ruined LCPS |
