Where can I find the materials of aap grade 3 at fcps?

Here's the link to the AAP Progress Report alignments. It describes the AAP extensions for the Grade 3 POS.

We goggled key word like “xx es school supply list”, but unsure if it’s different from Fcps website, some teacher ask for additional items not listed.

I'm so disappointed that there doesn't appear to be any acceleration or extensions in AAP Language Arts due to implementation of the new basal curriculum. It basically makes AAP glorified Advanced Math.

There is still Level IV Science and Social Studies. And the new basal curriculum is for the first quarter for now, they may be able to abbreviate after that. Also, the new basal curriculum has its own extensions for above grade students. It's only been a week. Wait and see how it goes.

My older kids who went through AAP are not strong in spelling and grammar. I am glad for the new curriculum for my youngest. Plus, I think the AAP classes will move through it quickly and still receive extensions.

This is my hope, too.

I was very disappointed in the 2nd grade language arts last year, particularly writing. My child did only a handful of writings all year. So far they have reported doing daily writing starting on day 1, which makes me happy. Is this the new curriculum or an extension?

Every 3rd grader in FCPS is doing the same thing for ELA for the first quarter, in every school, whether AAP or gen ed or anything else. This is the new basal curriculum.

It may change in the second quarter, or it may not.

AAP teacher here. The Language Arts extensions that FCPS has given us is a joke. They are basically just CCT strategies which we already embed.
