When is the iReady Math given to 1st graders?

Your school has a testing coordinator, usually an assistant principal. He or she could tell you with the most certainty. I believe they have to give a fall test and a spring test and the winter test is optional except for kids who do very poorly.

If they give it in the fall and spring, which one do they count for AAP purposes?

You mean level II? Our school did an assessment in May of every kid and iReady counted at that point for the following year. Your AART can answer for your school.

The 2nd grade fall iready will be included in the AAP referral packet.

My kid is second grader now, but last year he took iReady in the second week of September.

***Are only 2nd grade iReady (Math and Reading) scores included in the AAP referrals?

So the only thing be included in the AAP referral from 1st grade is the NNAT? Is that correct?***

And the final report card from 1st will also be included.

Just an update that my 2nd grader took the Math iReady last week.

OP here... mine too! But only the NNAT and final report card (from first grade) are factored into AAP decisions next year. I'm still very curious to see how he did. He loves math!

You're telling me that they're not going to look at the CogAT and more recent iReady tests from Fall 2024 for AAP next year??? Is this stated somewhere official?

Dp, but the previous post means that the only data *from first grade* included in the LIV packet are the final report card and NNAT. The CogAt and more recent IReady scores from *second grade* are still included.
