| Please share your best remedies to remove spit up and formula stains from light colored clothing. Not too keen on bleach or harsh chemical cleaners, but please tell me if you found a non-toxic option that actually works! |
| Soak in cold water with oxi clean. My kid had horrible reflux and I had continously soaking bin going ( but disclosure it was breast milk spit up so no clue if it stains differently) |
| Soak overnight in oxiclean. You can start hot, it will help a little bit. But it’s the duration of the soak that matters the most. I just put a cup-ish in a bucket. Stir well before you add the clothes - it won’t work if not dissolved. For old stains or the ones that “appear” after storage, you need an overnight soak. For new ones just adding it to the wash might help. |
| Yep, OxiClean. |

Dreft stain spray
Powdered tide Dawn Spray and wash Sunlight |
| Dreft stain spray! It's in the baby care aisle, not in the laundry aisle. And not to be confused with the Dreft laundry detergent, which smells horrible. Also, I didn't put a lot of baby clothes in the dryer, especially if they were really cute or expensive. So many stains, especially when they are learning to eat. You need a few rounds in the washer to get some of those out. |
The long soak in oxiclean will work on stains that have been through the dryer. I got a box of hand me downs with stains that I think had reappeared long after they went in the box and she didn’t notice them. They all came out with oxiclean. |
