Anyone shop at Aldi?

As a budget conscious mom, I do some of our shopping at Aldi. What are your favorite Aldi items? I notice the Aldi in my neighborhood (Takoma Park) carries different items than the Aldi in my former state (ie- this Aldi carries more items that cater to the Latin demographic... which is AWESOME!)

Some of my favorite Aldi buys:

Canned tomatoes with jalepeno (.49/can!)
Canned black beans (.55/can)
Corn and wheat tortillas
Organic chocolate soy milk
Bagged fresh spinach
Oatmeal (big canister, < $2)
Wild caught salmon fillets
Whole pineapple ($2.39)
Various cereals
Ice Cream

I wish Aldi carried a non-HFCS whole wheat bread.

I shop there sometimes.

Faves include (besides some of what you mention):

- Low-fat ice cream sandwiches (Skinny Cow knockoff)
- Fit & Active Ground Turkey
- Fit & Active Turkey meatballs
- European chocolate
- Butter
- OJ (not from concentrate)
- Frozen boneless chicken (dark meat or white)

Got thick sticker books there for $3.09 on the weekend.

Wish they had more whole grain products in general.

I go to the one in Hyattsville.

I shop there occasionally, but not too often, since I still have to go to the "regular" grocery store. I don't have any particular favorites, but do like picking up things that are a really good bargain for the food pantry.
