In Alexandria City - have you received your car tax bill yet?

It seems like everyone around has been getting theirs, but have not received mine yet in Alexandria city. No new info, same car, same address, etc.

I have, yet I paid it online weeks ago. Weird.

no I havent but ffx got theirs. A few years ago I never got mine from city of alexandria I had to call there were they insisted it was mailed. We only get mail delivered twice a week (another issue here) and it went missing I guess. Basically call them.

If you live near Warwick village supposedly some postal worker put a ton of mail straight down the sewer so that could explain the delay.

Do any of you all remember Jim Gilmoure running on no car tax and so many idiots voted for him based on that one issue??!! Yet, you guys still are paying - damn!

The car tax is actually a great, fairly equitable tax. If it goes away, you'll pay more in other ways. At least with the car tax, you have some control over it - stop buying new and luxury cars with pricey property taxes. My 10 year old car is about $275 this year.
