C-section with Reiter & Hill doctor -- which one?

Anonymous
I found out the baby is breech at almost 37 weeks and may need to schedule a c-section. If it comes to that, who should I schedule with (in the Reiter & Hill practice)?

I had Reiter - both times. 1st was an emergency C section. I appreciate his humor (very dry) so I did not find him standoffish...I selected him for my second c. I don't know about surgical "talent" od the others, but I have always liked Dr. Johnson.

BUT - if you are scheduling a C, schedule on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Staff has ramped back up from the weekend and far enough away from the upcoming weekend....Even hospitals run with less amenities /shorter staffing than during the week.

Thanks, I never thought to worry about the day of the week. I've seen Reiter for a few appointments and like his humor, too.

Dr. Johnson did my c-section, and I had minimal pain and a very speedy recovery.

Reiter did my c-section (unplanned) and that of a friend. I had an easy recovery and appreciated the picture he took of us just after the baby was born - a very thoughtful touch!

Dr. Johnson did my c-section, unplanned-I had mininal pain and a quick recovery. She is reassuring-and thorough. We felt we were in good hands. Dr. Reiter came by the next day and we found him to be very personable and funny. The house pediatrician was an ass-but Dr. Johnson reassured us that our son would be ok-and he was.

Dr. Osmun was great. I was induced but the c-section was unplanned. I've had a speedy recovery and the scar is not bad at all. Good luck to you!

Dr. Muangman was great as well. I had been seeing Dr. Loveland all along (whom I loved) and had a scheduled c-section with her. DS came early and I ended up with Dr. Muangman. She was wonderful, and I go to her for my gyn visits now too. You can't go wrong with either of them.

Thanks -- I'm glad to see all the good experiences. I'm currently scheduled with Dr. Reiter but if I go early I could easily end up with Osmun or Muangman.

We saw a lot of Dr. Reiter while we were at Sibley-had a much different opinion of him than others on this board. Dr. Johnson delivered ours on, but Reiter circumcised him. We found him to be funny, egaging and personable. You'll get a nice picture from him!
