| Sometimes in the afternoon I want a snack and walk to my D.C corner market and get some M&Ms or Slim Jims. Actually, a "Sharing Size" of M&Ms or two Slim Jims. I wonder which is the healthier snack. The Slim Jims have more ingredients I don't recognize and more sodium, but much more protein, which is good. The M&Ms have more-recognizable ingredients (to me) and almost no sodium, but almost no protein. What do you think? |
| Neither. Be an adult and bring a snack from home. Why do you need to buy something from a gas station? |
|
It's a habit.
|
|
Peanut m&m would get you some protein.
You could do a regular bag of m &m and one slim jim. Best (or worst) option. Go with whatever satisfies you. I lean more towards the m&Ms though. |
So stop. Take a walk but no need to stop for a junky snack |
Why is eveyone on here talking about protein in isolation all of a sudden. Also saying "I want" sounds stupid. |

In English, saying "I want" is rude, harsh, and demanding. |
Oh! Cute! The little one feels entitled to erroneously correct the grown-ups! Your mommy will be very unhappy you took her phone though. Go put it back. |
| I'd go with peanut M&Ms. Slim Jims have way too much bad stuff in them. |
|
Alternate. Slim Jim one day, m&ms the next.
|
| Are these truly the only choices? Either is fine on occasion but if you're doing this every day, maybe change it up a bit. |
| Do they have the healthier meat sticks, like Chomps? |
| Neither are healthy so I think you should choose the one you feel like that day. Sweet or savory. |
| I get the Trader Joe's version of M&M's. - they have less sugar and use plant dyes for color so there are no Yellow #5 and other artificial dyes that are illegal in other countries. |
