Does anyone use a combination estrogen progesterone cream?

If so, what do you use? Are you under doctor supervision?

I don’t like the idea of using a patch and pills regularly, I’d rather be able to use a bit of cream as needed. My symptoms are hot flashes at night, feeling tired, and irregular periods. Topical estradiol was really good at treating the symptoms but I was using an OTC cream and no progesterone and it really threw my cycle out of whack. I would prefer to do combination and under doctor supervision but my current OBGYN said they can’t do anything that hasn’t been studied and cleared by the FDA.

If anyone is using estrogen-progesterone cream, I’d love to hear about your experience, dosage, side effects, anything else!

Correction: It was topical estriol, not estradiol!
