Rugs?

Anonymous
DC is moving into an apartment and needs to cover a certain percentage of the floor with carpet/rugs.

Any recommendations for cheap area rugs that are easily moved, Ie. thin/flexible enough to fold and put in the car rather than roll? I’m thinking something almost like a large bathmat.

Thanks but asking about the type/brand that is foldable/flexible in the way I’m describing…

Ikea has some that you purchased folded.
Look for flatweave / flatwoven

I saw several things like this at Costco today. Some very thin, like a Ruggable, some thicker and more like a fur throw rug.

Yes, search for washable.

I would also consider indoor/outdoor rugs. They are low pile and cleanable. Look at Sam’s Club or Costco.

Wayfair or Home Sense have the least expensive rugs.

Garden stores like American plant. But those are not inexpensive.

Definitely look at Ikea. Get rug pads as well -- theirs are fine and inexpensive.
