Remind App Funding

Anonymous
PTO/PTA/other parents in the know - How are your schools funding the Remind App? Our school isn't receiving front office funding for the communication app any longer and curious how other schools are finding the funds. TIA

Our school told us they wouldn’t be using Remind anymore since there’s no more funding.

Our school is having trouble finding funding too. It used to be paid for by central offices. Budgets have been cut.

Our MS is not using Remind anymore because of this. They switched to a different app. Our ES seems to still be using it (I got an invite to the grade group a month ago) but who knows.

Crap, Remind actually worked pretty well.

There is a free teacher version of remind so some schools might have teachers use that.

Just curious, does anyone know how much it costs per school to use it?

Our DCPS community engagement staffer said it's about $3/enrolled student for the year.

My son's teacher is using Remind this year. I wasn't aware that schools had to pay. It seems to be fine. I wish they could find and settle on one for communication. I have to look at at least 3 different places to get all the information I need.
