Not sure if this is a medical issue or muscular weakness. I'm in my 40s and have a parent with Multiple Sclerosis. Since the pandemic, I've been pretty sedentary, with daily hour long walks with the dog, no other exercise. Recently I've started doing some basic squats and push-ups, lifting light weights, taking a weekly cardio class. However I've noticed a tremor in my right leg sometimes when I sit in meetings, and the tremor got really bad today while doing squats - it was in both legs this time. So tremor at rest AND while exercising.
I'm a little worried it's neurological because of my family history... but could it be that I haven't exercised my inner or outer thighs enough? Any exercise pro want to weigh in before I go to the doctor? Thanks. |
Do you take any magnesium? It helps for a number of things including small muscular tremors. At very least it won't hurt.
Still with your family history, I'd go to a doctor ASAP. |
A daily one hour walk is not sedentary. |
