Don't seem to be peaches anymore. They are these roundish pieces of particle board. Yuck!

Interesting. The peaches I’ve gotten at the farmers market have been pretty good but take a while to ripen.

The long spell of hot, dry weather wasn't good for peaches. It's a tough year for them.

They were good early in July but have gone downhill since, same with corn in the cob.

White peaches from Sam’s Club are better than the Peach Truck.

I’ve found that the pre-packaged ones (like 6 in a plastic branded bag) are much better than the loose ones in the bins at the grocery store.

Last batch we got at the farmers market was not good and I turned them into jam which came out amazing.

Got a fantastic box of white peaches at Costco. They are the only kind I eat.

Same. Expensive but worth it.

I don't eat white peaches, nor do I like nectarines that much. Proper peaches, when picked ripe, are awesome. Of course, as you all pointed out, it is hard to find them ripened on the tree.
We all need to move to Europe to eat tasty fruit when in season. But I don't have any money for that!

I get them from farmers markets and they're great.
