| Please recommend a local staycation or driveable place for an adult weekend getaway without the kids. I'm thinking fun, romantic, relaxing and luxury. I'd maybe consider flying somewhere not too far. Thank you for the help? |
| What is not too far? |
| Holiday Inn in Waldorf |
I was going to say the Comfort Inn in Waldorf! |
| Do you like to hike? Do you like to go to wine tastings? |
|
We are going here in a few weeks. I’ll let you know if it is worth it.

Local, staycation, ... but we might fly too.
jaysus. Make a decision to narrow it down first. |
| Keswick is the only thing in the region worth time or money. |
Was going to say the same. Hit a vineyard or two and enjoy the property. |
I dont see it as an issue. I think that she is mostly stating that she would like her travel time limited if possible. It is only a weekend trip so it would suck to spend 6 hours traveling one way and then again back. With that being said, what about Florida? |
We went here over NYE pre-Covid. It was really nice. |
This does look nice. I'd love to here about it. |

Inn at Little Washington. You don't even had to do the tasting menu, you can go to the more casual place across the street.
Barboursville Vineyard, although hard to get a reservation. St Michaels - Inn at Perry Cabin or the Wildset. |
