changing pad

How do you clean those wipeable changing pads like keekaroo or skip hop wipe clean? We have the skip hop one.

It says mild detergent and water don't submerge. Are y'all wetting a washcloth and going in with mild dish soap?

Can you use free and clear spray? Or baby surface wipes? Vinegar?

Looking for the best way to clean it before use and then after messy accidents and general upkeep of keeping the area tidy and sanitized

I bought large disposable diaper pads (marketed as incontinence pads for adults, puppy pads for pets) that covered the whole keekaroo changing pad. When it got messy, i just balled the whole thing up with the diaper and put in the the diaper pail. I only had to clean the pad itself occasionally. That is The Way.

we have the naturepedic one and HIGHLY recommend. i wipe it with baby wipes, if there's a messy accident i'll use a washcloth with dish soap

Yes we bought some I just figured I should clean it before using? When you did clean it did you use spray?

I used washable liners on the keekaroo (blue snail on Amazon which I loved and also used for tummy time, travel, a lot of things) but when I cleaned it I just used like a general spray cleaner. I’m sure I used the bleach one from the bathroom a few times. I wouldn’t overthink it.

Just wipe it down before using. When I changed diapers, I would put the new one under the old one and pull the old one out after wiping my baby’s bottom. There is rarely any mess with this method. You don’t have to wipe up the changing pad after each use.

I bought washable cloth pads for it, but I also just use regular cleaner or disinfecting wipes on it every so often.
