Yes, honestly when you think about this truth it’s pretty crazy. Why is the US spending money to supply Israel with weapons to kill Palestinians and starve while spending money to feed them. This makes no financial or moral sense. Biden is trying to appease the pro Palestinians bc they do matter in key swing states, but he also gets $$ from Jewish donors but I don’t think it’s a smart strategy bc it’s so obvious false and stupid.

This is Keynesian economics at work, with a macabre twist. This is why the economic numbers look good but no one feels it on the ground.

Biden didn’t stop this, is the problem.

Biden didn’t wake up this morning, read the news, and say, the U.S will stop supporting Bibi in the UN and the ICJ. He read about the same war crime you did, and the deliberate killing of a U.S. citizen, and he did…nothing at all.

Biden couldn't do that, at the time, and he's been far more willing to criticize Israel than any administration since Bush 1.

He was given the world's biggest kaka sandwich at the world's worst time and has somehow miraculously preventing it from going global. That is a testament in and of itself.

That being said, the World Central Kitchen attack changes a lot.

At the time!? The time was literally yesterday. What stopped him from saying, yesterday, this is the end of U.S. support for Israel at the ICJ because it is rank hypocrisy to watch American humanitarians be killed in Israeli war crimes and use U.S. tax dollars to claim those war crimes aren’t happening. What stops him? I’ll wait.

If we applied the same standards across countries, we should actually be bombing Israel and taking Gaza away from Israel with boots on the ground.

Don’t be ridiculous. It’s like people are forgetting October 7.

You and Israel have managed to drive everyone into a state of shock. Shock in witnessing the pure evil of Zionism’s actual intentions, to the point where most people don’t give AF about 10/7 after what you’ve done.

Think about that. For hundreds of millions of people across the globe, you have turned a horrendous attack into apathy and now determination to vanquish the disease of Zionism.

+1. I’m a Democrat and I will never again vote for a “pro-Israel” candidate after what I’ve seen. It is now a dealbreaker as far as I’m concerned.

There are millions saying the exact same thing (that support for Israel is now a dealbreaker because it crosses their red line), and tens of millions moving in that direction.

Good luck finding a candidate who hasn't taken AIPAC money.

And if a foreign country had been asked to supply their tax dollars to support that strike, i imagine they’d be enraged about it too.

The republican base abandoned establishment republicans under Obama. It took a couple of election cycles, but they ended up with a party that represents their views (for better or probably worse). As a progressive voter, I know that whoever I vote for will be labeled as an extremest by the right (look at how they've painted a relatively conservative Biden), so I might as well get someone who represents me. If it means losses in this cycle and the next, oh well

You can't tell Israel to "cut it out" while giving them billions in aid in the form of military might. Cut them off NOW. NOW. NOW.

-Biden has received more money from AIPAC than any other US politician, ever. Biden said in October 2023 that he is a Zionist. He flew to Israel to hug Bibi so the world would know he supports Israel. He's basically an agent of Israel, a la the Manchurian Candidate, who is available at Israel's beck and call. He would rather lose the election and allow Trump to destroy the US, than withdraw support for Israel.

What does targeting and killing aid workers have to do with Oct7 or Hamas? It has nothing to do with it.

War would not have happened in retaliation. Of course of 10/7 didn’t happen they wouldn’t have needed aid workers like this.

The 10/7 attack would not have happened if Israel was not oppressing millions of people.

Good thing our nation was obsessed with mee maw posting memes on Facebook that may have originated in Russia while Israel was literally buying up politicians in bulk like its Costco.

With these sets of comments you both are proving the point that this current conflict is an endless ping pong of retaliation between Zionists and Palestinians (and other Arabs who use Palestinians as their proxy). If Israel truly wants peace, they need to own up to their part in creating the conditions for 10/7 to happen and figure out a path forward that offers hope for the Palestinian people and allows them to advocate on their own behalf without labelling their actions as "terrorism" or "antisemitism". Palestinians need to do their part too and come up with a government that will not choose violence as a form of negotiation or representation and accept they are not returning to their family homes that they left in the 40s. Sadly, I do not see this happening and so I do not want my taxpaying dollars (or weapons produced in the US) going to the ME. By continuing the path we are on, we are not only making things worse in the ME, but we are also making ourselves a target of hatred and risking another 9/11.

Instead, why can't we invest and focus on energy independence and leave the ME quagmire to the Russians and Chinese? If we feel that we need a greater empire than our own borders, let's invest more in Central and South America (if we can get over our distaste for "socialism" we could have a cooperative relationship with Venezuela that helps with our energy independence goals and if we can build up the economies in SA countries we also would decrease current rates of immigration b/c their nationals would have more of a reason to stay home. I know I have gotten way off topic here, but this all ties together in my mind....

Hamas lovers determined to keep that same narrative going and going and going

Hamas instigated the attack because they wanted other Arab nations to abandon the normalization they were beginning to see with Israel. They were and are willing to kill as many people as need to die, to further that aim. 35,000 dead? Not enough as far as Hamas is concerned.

Orchestrating the entry of thousands of trucks, delivery via air and sea of millions of pounds of food doesn't really compute with an intent to starve. 100 trucks coming in just today.

Exhibit A of an AIPAC contributor living amongst us. This is a highly educated, elite, wealthy community that has bent the American political system and raided the American treasury to fund their pet project of Israel for the past 75 years.

Good luck purging the Democratic Party of them. They have gotten rid of their own lawmakers from their community like Andy Levin and anybody who has spoken up in even the mildest manner against the daily un-democratic acts Israel commits. Look how they succeeded in maligning Jimmy Carter, a PRESIDENT of the United States and possibly the most honorable President in near history.

As the poster above shows they are not the least contrite about what has happened the past six months. They are racial supremacists. Good luck Dems. You’ll need it.

Nice try.
They use to get 500 trucks a day prior to the current genocide campaign.
