Help! Does anyone have experience with the Arlington Montessori Pre-K program?

Anonymous
We entered the lottery in the spring thinking it was a long shot and we've just been offered a spot at the Alice West Fleet location. We're now digging into it and trying to learn more before the acceptance deadline. Would love to hear any recent experience you've had with Arlington's pre-K Montessori program. Thanks in advance

Do you have older kids? If not, check out the calendar and how many days off there are. Be sure it works with your child care needs

We have younger kids so if we choose to enroll and end up liking the Montessori program the sibling preference thing is a nice perk. Good point on the number of days off APS gets.

Also keep in mind that the youngest kids go back a few weeks later than the K aged kids.

My neighbor sent her daughter through the program. She was happy. No complaints. It was a better fit than the daycare we were both at. But they really struggled with the schedule. There were so many days off and early releases. Because their 3 year old was too young for extended day, they paid a lot for baby sitters and nannies

As in both of the Montessori teachers at Fleet? Are there two classes there or one class with two teachers?

We’re way behind learning all this and the information only is spotty at best!

2 classes with one teacher and one assistant. The assistants may change but the lead teachers are great
