Favorite cook for a crowd meal

If you had to cook for 16 people, what’s something you’d make?
One pot meal or even a side dish suggestion?
I’m at a loss as to how to cook in such bulk and I cook for 6 people every night.

I’d grill, chicken and burgers, premake a bunch of side salads like potato salad, green salad, watermelon salad, etc.

Or a taco bar - make pulled pork in a slow cooker and cook diced blackened chicken breasts ahead of time and serve at room temp, along with taco fixings.

If you want this to be a nicer meal, I’d make two pork tenderloins or chicken on sheet pans (something like chicen marbella) both which can be prepped ahead and then roasted while guests are there.

16 people is just having 2 other families over since you are a family of 6, so really you could scale up on anything that is a go-to for you.

I often fo lasagna or stuffed shells for a crowd because it scales easily.

I would grill burgers/dogs/chicken breasts or cater in a Mediterranean spread.

If grilling is an option, I’d do that. A big bowl of macaroni salad, corn on the cob (full cobs cut in two), and sliced tomatoes or a green salad.
For dessert for that size I would do cupcakes, bars (like lemon bars, or brownies with ice cream). And a watermelon cut up will serve a crowd that size.
