| The black Nike slim fit/ dri fit shorts that come with my players kit are completely see through. I hold them up and can see straight through the material--not a little, but entirely (similar to looking through a screen door). Is anybody else having this issue? The shorts don't seem to have a name--just Nike dri-fit. Just trying to understand whether I have a damaged pair /material that I should attempt to return/exchange or if others are having same issue and its just a really cheap style of soccer shorts in the kit...We've had black shorts in the past and never this issue.... Thanks for any insight! |
| Why the F are you coming on a forum to complain. |

Be happy they are black. My daughter’s club had see through white Nike uniforms last year. It poured out on more than one game day. Poor girls tried to keep the uniforms from sticking to their skins.
This year we did get black for training kits and I felt them for the first time last night and they did feel different from last year. |
| ask the other parents on your kid's team |
| Some are translucent. Maybe club is trying to keep kit cost down? My daughter wears Nike or UA base layer. |
| How much were they? Just get a new pair and move on. |

We're fine (based on comments in this forum) with butt cheeks hanging out
Translucent is pushing our decency limitations too far |

| Most teen girls on our teams wear base layer shorts underneath all the time. Doesn't really matter the color of the kit. |
I'm convinced the uniform shorts are crap so that they can sell more nike pros |
| Base layers. |
| White shorts or white shirts for girls are absurd. I can only imagine they are selected by clueless middle aged men. |

| Are they see through on the player or just looking through in the light? |
Agree. There’s been a bit of pushback against them in the professional leagues, and I can only hope it trickles down eventually. |
