Mentally indecisive or fixated on 1 thing

Anonymous
Parent has aged to point very slow or can’t decide about simple things and gets fixated on deciding whatever it is can’t decide about. Also VERY quick to anger. Is there an aging timeline? Sure everyone ages differently, but wondering if medical book or even website could recommend that talks about decline and if tick off certain things tells how far a person is in decline?

There are stages of Alzheimer’s/dementia- you can google a chart and see if any of the information fits your loved one. Indecisiveness and anger are definitely part of dementia. As your loved one loses their memory and executive functioning life can get very scary.
