The guy owned only one javelin and practiced with it for SEVEN years!
My kid, on the other hand, has had 7 soccer balls, 7 pairs of cleats, 7 different shin guard designs… in 4 years… for REC soccer… and still complains.

At least you see the craziness. Most parents won’t ever reconsider this mess that we’ve gotten ourselves into. Over indulgence.
