Can anyone recommend any titles that deal with social mobility - can be both fiction and non fiction.

“Educated” and “Glass Castle” come to mind but what else?

I liked "Limbo: Blue-Collar Roots, White-Collar Dreams" by Alfred Lubrano. It's non-fiction and includes interviews with people who've experienced social mobility

Unequal Childhoods is good if you want the roots of the issue. It’s a little dated now but nothing had changed. It’s considered a classic in the sociology cannon.
