Madison bus schedule

| We have a rising freshman, returning to the FCPS system from two years in a private. The school has been great about communicating most things, but we just realized we haven't seen anything about busses. Did a little searching, and all I could find was something stating that they didn't publicize bus routes due to privacy issues. I get that, but am worried I'm missing signing her up for the bus (and getting the schedule). Any advice? |

It’s been a while since I’ve done it, but I think there’s a checkbox in ParentVue that says that you’ll need transportation. |

They usually have a robocall and email to you AND put it in parent vue when it is available. It takes a long time to be available -or at least it feels like a long time. 
You can call transportation but our middle sent an email out that they would be available soon. They stopped publishing bus schedules a while ago and for safety reasons I think that is a good idea. Good luck and welcome back! |

You can:
1. Ask your neighbors when the bus comes. It's usually the same year after year. 2. Call the school and ask what the schedule is. 3. Wait until the week before school starts and then get 5 different messages about when your kid's bus is coming. |
