Pigeon Forge - Dollywood

Anonymous
My family is taking a 5 day vacation to Pigeon Forge (fly in early on a Wednesday, fly out late on a Sunday). We have 2 teenage boys, and each of them is bringing a friend. 3 out of 4 love them parks and rollercoasters, and all love water parks.
We will be golfing, rafting, zip lining, rock climbing… and the question is… should we plan on more than one day at Dollywood and the water park?
We are staying at a resort property cabin, so the length of stay tickets are available at a very reasonable price ($220 each with Time Saver). But if there really is only enough in the park for a one day visit, I would rather spend just $110 each for a two day ticket (one day at water park, one day at theme park).
I had originally envisioned doing daytime activities (golfing, rafting, etc.), and then the teenagers could hit the park in the evening. However, Dollywood starts their fall hours right before our visit and on weekdays the park closes at 7.
Is Dollywood exciting enough for going multiple days?

It's simply a waterpark. I mean if you guys love this stuff - go as much as you want but it's not any more than this so most people would do it for 1 day (we did) and leave. It is nice - fun and clean. Dolly knows how to run a business for sure! I became a bigger fan of Dolly's after I did her place

No. It’s pretty much like Kings Dominion. Would your teen boys want to spend two days there?
