The Warf wasn't there when the built the Green line. There are two stops near by, however.

Because the Wharf has only been open since 2017

Yes, there are two stops that are about 10 minutes, less than 0.5 mile way (L'Enfant Plaza and Waterfront).

The cost to create a new metro stop would be billions of dollars. Not anywhere close to cost effective to try to add an new stop for less than 1/2 a mile away from two existing stops.

Are you the same poster who asks for another airport because none of the 3 are convenient for you personally?

How do you move a station?

No, just move the waterfront to the waterfront station. Much cheaper.

It would be nice to have an exit to waterfront closer to the wharf and I think at one point it was under consideration, but it's pretty expensive to build. There are other stations where a second exit would get more use, including Columbia heights and foggy bottom.

There are two metro stops under 1/2 mile from the center of the Wharf.

It boggles my mind how much people can't stand to walk for ten minutes.

This will probably happen if you wait a few hundred years.
