Low ovarian activity after clomid, what to do?

Anonymous
I just had my sonogram on day 11 after 200mg of clomid. The nurse said I don't have much going on in one ovary and the other has one maybe 2 follicles but they are small. I'm supposed to come back on Monday for another sono and blood work. Anyone have a similar issue? Did waiting give you better results? What are my next likely steps?

Are you doing FSH injections as well or clomid only? I also had only two follicles on day 11- both on the same side. They had me do a second FSH injection and two days later I was ready for trigger. I am currently pregnant from that cycle.

OP here, I'm doing Clomid only and I realize I might be wrong on my dosage because I don't have it in front of me. Would my RE give me an FSH injection this cycle or do I have to wait until next cycle to start injectables. I know my insurance won't cover the injectables, approximately how much per month should I expect. Thanks.

I did the clomid/FSH protocol. My guess is that it is too late in your cycle to do an FSH injection but you can always ask. I think a typical protocol is to do the first injection on day 9 and then another a couple days later if needed. I'm not sure on the cost b/c my insurance covered them minue the co-pays. I think for the clomid, FSH (2) and HCG injectables, and prometrium (for after the IUI) my co-pay was around $130.
