Looking for some suggestions for what your kids like(d) at those ages — could be board games, building toys, sports toys, science kits, craft kits, anything. Trying to keep my two off of screens.

Any sports stuff like hockey or soccer goal, football, little nerf ball, badminton

Any outdoor toy like those racing rider things (not sure of the name but neighbor down the street has them), bike, scooter, rollerblades

Projects like snapcircuits, art kit, drawing project

I’ve been thinking of putting up a tetherball pole, but my kid has accidents and I also don’t need playmates getting smashed in the face. Is tetherball seen as too dangerous these days? I know schools have all uninstalled them.

Driveway hockey, roller skating, soccer, shrinky dinks, rainbow loom bracelets (YouTube has tons of great how to videos), clay (bake and paint), diamond art, slime kits, play doh, Rubik's cube, yo-yo, fort kit, kooshball and paddles, jump rope, baking kits (I'm the chef too!), sidewalk chalk, sidewalk paint, frisbees, pickleball, outdoor tent
