Cost for travel softball 14u

Considering a couple of teams for travel softball. How much do you typically pay? About a $1,000 difference between the two offers my daughter has received thus far. Trying to figure out the going rate.

We pay about $2500 for the year and that does not include uniforms. We have paid, non-parent coaches, which is an expense many teams don’t have but worth every penny.

PP here who pays 2500 and yes, we have fundraising, too. Not a lot though.

I think we came in around 1,800 last year.

It all depends on how much fundraising the team will do and how many tournaments they plan to enter.

The USSSA tournaments are around 700 bucks. Plus mix in other costs (uniforms, bags, equipment, etc) and you can see how the price can rise pretty quickly.

The good teams are the ones that can easily produce a financial summary of where the money has gone. If they can't do that, its a little sus

This. We get quarterly budget updates that show is everything coming in (dues and fundraising) and everything going out (mostly coach pay, tournament fees, and facility use for winter and rain).
