Packing lunch for a teen

Anonymous
What kind of lunch boxes are teens carrying nowadays? Or are they all buying lunch? My first teen in the family won't be buying lunch. Ideas on age appropriate lunch boxes/bags?

Mine made his own lunch and put it in a plastic bag.

Mine uses a reuseable Lululemon bag- most of the girls do something like that.

Mine uses a bento box, so no bag, or else a paper bag. Everything else is too bulky with all the other stuff they have to carry.

We found a cool Nike lunch box at Dick's.

My kids’ school doesn’t have lockers so they have to carry with them. No one seems to use a lunchbox. The girls use little reusable tote bags from Lululemon or similar and the boys seem to either buy lunch, use a plastic grocery sack and throw away when done, or stuff it in their backpack in a big ziploc. Per my kids…

My DD brings hers in a reusable tote and DS buys lunch but throws a few extra snacks in his backpack to supplement

My tween has 2 lunch boxes.
First one is an adidas one with a tall main compartment that fits a thermos. Hot food obviously goes in there, fruit and something else goes in the smaller bottom area.

The other one is a standard rectangle lunchbox also adidas. It fits a Bentgo fresh box inside it.
