| Title pretty much says it all.... I'm retiring this year, and am looking for any suggestions or referrals for someone in the DMV area who is an awesome financial/retirement advisor bound by fiduciary duty. Looking more for individuals versus companies, unless the company is extremely small and high quality. Am a high net worth individual, but not crazy high. Thanks in advance! |
Why do you want to pay a 1 percent or so assets under management fee? (There can be good reasons for certain situations, but for most it is a too expensive way to go.) |

These guys are local. I listen to their podcast and really enjoy it, but have never hired or met with them

There may be some decent search engines for this now:

| Not for everyone but I use Cassaday and Company in Tysons. They take a percentage but in my case they have more than paid for themselves. |
This is advertising, bad form. |

You can find a fiduciary advisor at NAPFA https://www.napfa.org/
About 20% are pretty good. The top 3% are worth 2-10X the fee. Find someone that specialized in retirement planning and tax planning. |
