Summer swim maintenance

What's a good option for an 8 and under NVSL to keep working on skills over the school year? Are any programs just once a week for 45 min? All the ones in seeing look too competitive, like 2x a week for 1 hour each. Thanks!

Fairfax county parks and rec offers stroke mechanics classes at the rec centers. That could be a good option.

Also check with your team reps. Many pools have their own programs. Some may just not have been announced/solidified yet.

Where are you? Our summer team does a winter program that's 1x a week and it's open to people who aren't members of the pool.

What pool? (NVSL)

I am pretty sure Dowden, Lincolnia, Parklawn, and Forest Hollow all have their own winter programs that will do what you need.

If your pool is in Fairfax, Little Hunting Park, Mount Vernon Park, and Mansion House all have them too

Does anyone know of any of these programs that meet on a weekday? Our weekends are already full.

Most teams offer it on the weekend, so to not compete with other sports. Life is just busy.
