Members of the armed forces are absolutely out of control with their driving

We see it all the time - cars in this region with out of state plates from states like TX, etc. Junky, low class cars like chargers, BMW 3 series, mustangs, and Camaros....basically cheap power/muscle cars who tear ass all over the beltway going 100+ mph, tailgating people aggressively and who weave in and out of traffic. These have got to be military bros who think they're invincible and who've got toxic masculinity alpha male bravado BS. It's insane how many civilians they put in danger on the roads everyday driving like maniacs. Why doesn't the DoD do something about their out of control behavior outside of work? They're going to kill multiple people unnecessarily simply because they are driving their POS charger 125 mph on the GW parkway. Laws are no longer enforced on the road by anyone these days, so drivers' behavior has reached all time lows.

Everyone is out of control and there is zero enforcement. Zero.

We need law enforcement candidates for office and we need a national movement calling for law enforcement for everyone. I don’t care if people end up locked up or whatever.

The GW Parkway between the Beltway and Arlington has been under construction for over a year and no one can drive more than 60 on the narrow lane. From Arlington to the airport the GW Parkway is heavily traveled. Through Old Town there are at least 10 lights. At the end of Old Town to Mount Vernon, traffic is fairly heavy to accelerate to 125 mph going in and out of the two lanes.

Gotta a better troll?

Hey now, don't throw shade on the Mustang or the Camaro. They are not cheap, junky muscle cars but, rather, true American classics! Haven't completely made my mind up about the Charger; it's a known street-racing vehicle, so maybe you're picking up on that vibe.

What does this have to do with military? I love sports cars.

Troll. Most military personnel can't afford a charger that goes 125.

OP hates American muscle cars and thinks everyone should drive a Tesla.

It’s not like the military attracts smart or good people

They get a loan because they are young and stupid and spend all their money at once.

I promise you, those young and stupid servicemembers are getting loans for the $32k base version, which has a 3.6L V6 and does NOT go that fast.

Source: old military husband owns a $80k Charger with a much larger engine.

I live off the GW parkway in Alexandria. we have been here for over 20 years. I drive to DC a few days a week.

This is not an issue. Nothing OP says holds true.

You clearly must not drive the beltway though. It's absolutely nuts. From PG all the way to MoCo, so many morons in muscle cars, garbage rice burners, and lower line BMWs all chasing each other like morons and easily going over 100 mph..some alpha douche cuts off another tuner bro who takes it as a challenge to their manhood, now you have two idiots racing all over major roads chasing each other for miles. Really sick and tired of all of the idiots driving 100-125mph all over the roads and endangering everyone with no consequences. A lot are probably from the military because of our of state plates. It's always alpha wannabe douches.
