Where would you take middle- and high-schoolers from Britain in and around DC?

We have a couple of middle and high schoolers visiting us this fall. Any suggestions of things to do that kids this age would love? Thank you!

The museums should still be a hit.

My friends and family loved Air & Space museum, especially at Udvar Hazy, the Spy Museum, American History Museum, African American Museum and the Mansion on O Street. They also liked going to a big pumpkin patch/pick you own farm, they liked going around Georgetown near Halloween to see all the decorations, they loved going to Target and all the athleisure shops in Georgetown (Vuori, Alo yoga etc).

Museums, monuments, Potomac River going west, maybe Harper's Ferry, though that's a bit out of the way.

+1 and go to Sandy Spring Adventure Park. Hiking in Great Falls.

Shenandoah - landscapes in the UK tend to be pretty manicured.

The Museum of American History, National Museum of the American Indian, and the Air and Space Museum are the sorts of things that will be new to them. The UK has a lot of art and natural history museums.
