Ipad Buy now or wait for Ipad2?

opinions? any rumors as to when Ipad 2 is coming? reviews of ipad? accessory recommendations?

love it. love it. love it.

we were looking for a second laptop/computer and realized that this would serve the purpose just fine. plus, it's cooler, more portable, and less money. we love it so much we just got iPhones.

i used to laugh at people who were such Mac lovers, but i understand why now.

I will agree that we LOVE ours - our desktop is hardly ever used by us anymore - it is now truly for the children. I chide my husband for not bringing it up and downstairs because I am constantly wanting it downstairs when it's up and vice-versa. It is our primary internet interface at home. Plus I can use it as a chalkboard (for instance) when I need to show kid how to add two two-digit numbers together (scribble programs are great for that). My SO uses it for an e-reader.

Love it! On it now. Tons of free or cheap aps are great for kids! Checkers, chess, connect four, math, hangman...not to mention talking Karl. It entertained a 5 yr old and 3 year old on a 3 hour flight today no problem. Also read books on it. I would get one now, and if you love it, upgrade to the ipad2 and pass the originals down to the kids!!

iPad has not been released internationally across the globe so ipad2 is sometime away. It is a fabulous device for kids and replaces all other video games for the non avid gamers. We used it as the video player over a 10 hr flight and downloaded two seasons of the air bender series. Worked like a charm.
