| How come there is no stop there? |
| Metro Stops are incredibly hard to get. Start lobbying now and maybe in twenty years there will be. |
| Do you mean the neighborhood by Alexandria? The Alexandria metro stop is right there |
King St. is quite a bit of a walk |
| No space to put one, the blue line yard is right there |
north of Janney's Lane, walk up Janney's turn right on King St. It's about 1.5 miles. If you are on the south side of Janney's turn left on Duke St. and you are even closer. |
| King Street Metro services Taylor Run, which is a lovely suburban residential neighborhood. A Metro stop there would not only be inappropriate, but unnecessary. As another reply mentioned, there is no space for one, either. Even in DC, Metro stops are at least 1 mi. apart. |
1 mile is really not that far to walk. 15-20 minutes? I could spend 20 minutes driving around the block looking for parking. |
Stops in DC are not at least one mile apart. ??? |
| I live in Taylor Run. This is such a weird post. Did you just move to the DMV OP? |
| Like, create a new stop in Taylor Run? Where? The track doesn’t go through Taylor Run, and the king street stop is just down king street from janney’s or Duke street from w Taylor run pkwy, both of which are direct bus routes to king street metro station. |
| What the heck is Taylor runs. If this DC native hasn't heard of it, it doesn't deserve at metro stop. |
| Run the blue line down to Potomac Mills, Occoquan or Lorton/Newington |
