Flynn and Ohara uniform sizing for 12 year old-go youth Large or XL polo shirt?

My 12yo wears an adult small polo shirt at Flynn O’Hara. Adult medium in the PE shirt.
I get pants/shorts elsewhere She’s 5’0 and 125lbs. ( not skinny, med build) |

The sizing at Flynn & O'Hara is crazy. My normally women's size 6 DD is a size 18 in their skirts! The shirts are more in line with normal sizing, but I'd definitely recommend visiting the store and trying the shirts on.
Try to avoid Saturdays, it gets insane in the Rockville store. |

| The sizing is crazy. We got my 14 YO DD (5'7, 130lb) a skirt in size large, waited months for it, and it was too small waisted even for my youngest daughter (8). I say go into the store and check the sizes they have. My daughter's school is too small to have the fittings in store - if that's the case for you, order several sizes and be prepared to return. |
