Favorite laundry service? (Pick up/folding)

Anonymous
The laundry in our house has been piling up and we want to do a laundry pick-up/drop off folding service to simplify our lives as two working parents. Any recs? We’re close in Maryland.

Rinse? Poplin? Anyone have any recs?

Most are not very good. Not reliable enough to clean stains on clothes and who knows conditions of services where clothes are washed. Just do it yourself. Put a load in every morning.

Advice like yours always throws me. Like - OP didn't ask for that? They know that they can do laundry themselves but want to outsource it and asked for recs.

It's like people who ask "where can I buy a good lasagna" and everyone chimes in - "oh it's easier/better/healthier if you cook it yourself". WE KNOW WE CAN DO THINGS OURSELVES. SOMETIMES WE WANT TO OUTSOURCE AND ARE ASKING FOR GOOD RECOMMENDATIONS.

DP. No need to scream, PP. Sometimes it's valuable to have one's hopes dashed that a convenience service can actually work as intended to make life simpler.

I had some good experiences with Rinse and others that were medium. I no longer send everything possible in the bag when I send it out. Prefer them for towels, hand towels, linens after a party, and clothes that are less likely to have stains or not good in high heat dryer (don’t send tshirts or bralettes). I like that it’s month to month and an easy to use app. The customer service is pretty good but it is on the pricey side IMO (after a nice intro discount each bag is around $65). I want to try ZIPS wash and fold next, they have a new program where they give you a bag and you drop it off or schedule a pickup/drop off run by DoorDash.
