So people walk around with earbuds constantly
Are you just leaving them in or listening to music podcasts or true crime? |
I'm listening to music. |
Books |
They just don't want anyone to talk to them that's all. |
I'm listening to Pandora. I generally pop one out if I'm in a store with loud music or if I have to talk to someone. |
I actually feel so rude going through checkout with my earbuds on, even if set to transparent. Agreed music is nice to coverup bad Muzak. |
Pandora? How old school. Do you pay for service, how do you prefer over the infinite catalogs of Apple or Spotify? |
Audiobooks |
I never do this in a public environment. You otherwise are deliberately sacrificing your hearing, which is important to situational awareness, almost like wearing a blindfold. You can't hear people or dogs approaching from outside your field of view, may not hear emergency vehicle sirens or even ordinary car horns, etc. |
I leave mine in. Depending on what I am doing snd where I am, it’s easier than taking them out and possibly dropping them. Like when I’m on a walk or a run and I stop by a convenient store to buy gum. With transparency mode on my AirPods, I can hear anything
|
It’s easy to connect when a call comes in or I can have Siri read me a text. I don’t have to fumble with my AirPods and drop them or possibly miss the call |
If you live in the city, you shouldn't do this. |
No, I don't pay for service. Pandora gives me a decent catalog of music. Decent enough that I'm satisfied with what I get for free. |
Don't you need wifi for spotify? I listen to apple podcasts. No idea how. I guess they are over 5g. |
Rude and dumb. |
