Shishito peppers

We have a bunch to pick in our garden. Typically we just sauté or grill them with olive oil and flaky salt. Anything else people like to do with them?

We roast them in the oven. IMO, oil and salt is all they need.

We just blister them in a pan with olive oil, salt and serve with aioli. I had a similar dish once at Jaleo with padron peppers. Simple and delicious.

Smoking hot cast iron, toss the peppers with oil, throw them in the pan, salt and lemon juice when they come out.

This is what we do too.

I add a splash of soy sauce to the hot pan or a bowl of grilled shishitos - it's fabulous!

OP here... Made them tonight and used this recipe including the dipping sauce.

Was delicious and must say that the little bit of lemon zest on the peppers added a nice subtle zing. Will repeat this one.

Roast them and make a salsa. Similar to what you would do with tomatillos.

We air fry them then put a little sesame oil and soy sauce.
