Thinking about a trip. We love national parks and haven’t been to Hot Springs yet. Probably will be a kid free trip but if kids do tag along, they will be 17 and over. Suggestions appreciated.
Also we’d likely drive. I’m seeing stop options as Nashville, Memphis and Asheville. Am I missing anything? |

Hot Springs is a fun trip. We’re trying to see as many national parks as we can, and this was an easy one. We drove and stopped in Memphis for a bit to see cousins. It’s a reasonable stop option. I think, though, with a 17 year old, Nashville would be more fun.
The Buckstaff baths were recommended to us and were great. Get there right at opening to avoid a wait. Bring flip flops. Cousins recommended the Ohio Club to us—they love it but we didn’t want to go with our young kids. It would likely be fun for a teenager. Other recs—lunch at Best Cafe, Garvan Woodland Gardens, and the Gangster Museum. |
