Also, assuming you are talking BA. I know a couple who went and got JDs after getting English undergrad and work their asses off now as lawyers, making between $150 (govt) and more than $400 (private, partner). |

And an English degree is great for grad programs. It’s a wonderful degree for critical thinking, writing skills, etc. |
The point of college (for any degree) is to further critical thinking skills. An English degree doesn't corner the market for "critical thinking" skills. |
