I haven't eaten there in years because the food got so mediocre. But our office ordered Panera twice this week and the two sandwiches I ate were surprisingly really good. One was just a basic turkey and cheddar on tomato bread. The other a hot steak and cheese sandwich on black pepper focaccia bread. I can't speak to anything else on the menu bit they were both legitimately fantastic.
The sandwich with green goddess dressing is amazing. I hate Panera but my kid likes it.
I’ve eaten there twice in the last six months and both of the times my salads were really good!
Their online menu shows sandwiches have recently been "enhanced" -- whatever that means.
Their Chipotle sauce and their Signature house sauce help make the sandwiches tasty. But their Garlic sauce is awful. I customize the sandwich order and request the sauce of the side, otherwise the sandwich will be soggy and gross.
Hmmm, I get diarrhea everytime I eat there.
I used to really like the green goddess salad but the chicken has become inedible. It’s gelatinous and barely recognizable as a food substance.
I can’t eat their chicken either. It’s rubber. |
I eat there frequently as it is by my workplace and would say it's so so. It's also pretty overpriced as nothing is really fresh but they price it like they actually cook things - like chicken - on premise (it is all pre/factory made and then just assembled). They should shave a couple bucks off their prices and I wouldn't be so annoyed about it.
I also wish the chicken was better and not from a bag.
I think it varies a lot by location, as well as who manages it and works there.
They took away everything I liked on the menu.
The tomato bread is delicious but you have to make sure you substitute it in place of whatever your sandwich comes with.
I loved their Napa Almond Chicken sandwich, and they took it off their menu. So sad. Oh well. Now I get their Mediterranean Veggie sandwich.
I loved it, too. Now I just don’t go to Panera. |
