Yes. I am annoyed with the lack of comms for it

They are so greedy. They are still holding out for more teams to register; therefore, schedule will not be released till late Thursday night.

Agree and no planning and not even brackets to see how many teams in age group.

It’s already Wednesday PM. People have other things to do over their Saturday. How many people wait and sign up the 3 days prior l?

It probably has very little to do with greed, and a lot more to do with bracket balancing. Most organizers really don’t like having to combine age groups, or not give enough play to make it worth the competitors time because of the lack of teams.

Err on the side of good intentions, you’d be surprised how often you’re right.

Doubt it. If they need more teams to sign up they should give a discount. Also, honestly this is a small worthless tournament so they can wait till Thursday - 3 days before game day to make the brackets.

Any other tournaments will have the schedule out the week of if not sooner.

Yes. It was fun but I still don’t know what we were playing in. Website had high school, 2011, 12, 13, 15 age groups ….what happened to 14? LMAO

Website also only lists boys brackets but when we got there it was mixed gender. It also says top 2 or 3 “qualify for nationals”….what?? the hs bracket only had 3 teams!

So confused. But it was great training, very fast-paced.

This used to be a packed tournament with some good competition. This year was none short of a rec league game.

They had 2009 girls playing with the 2011 boys. They moved one of the 2011 boys team up to the HS team.

But somehow adult/kids took laps on instagram for their tournament they paid for. Dc soccer parents are the worst
