Machine Locations in VA

What’s the word on the difference between the Machine locations in NoVa? I noticed a lot of strong Machine swimmers this weekend at PVS champs. Are they all out of a particular site or are there a few that are strong?

Machine is a good club at any site. They are intense. They also have 4:30 am practices which can be rough.

Machine, NCAP compete at the higher level meets as well. So they have faster swimmers and go to the faster meets. Think NCAP winter champs vs Sport Fair Winter classic. One year Machine wasn't at the NCAP meet and they went to Sport Fair and just crushed it. The other teams were like WTH. They have since returned to the faster meet.

I just looked back to 2012-- Machine hasn't swum in winter classic in the last decade plus.

They have a lot of strong sites. Off the top of my head I can say the Audrey Moore and Tuckahoe sites have some incredibly fast kids.

Their coaches are absolutely awesome on deck, and the culture seems fantastic. We love Coach Evan, who is co-HC for Langley and coaches at a few Machine sites. We have done some pop-up clinics at Machine Performance School, and Coach Dan is wonderful. If their HP Orange did not practice at the crack of dawn, we would have chosen Machine in a heart beat.

The HP Orange at Medeira has early evening sessions. Any reason you didn’t choose those?

I know Audrey Moore had over half of the Machine kids in the 13-14 sessions this past weekend.
