| The Stride Rite mary jane’s are good. Nordstrom also usually carries some (not necessarily a budget option though.). In general, make sure you are choosing a leather upper. They breathe well, last longer and can be polished. |

| Check your uniform guide and reach out to the teacher. Mary Jane’s are not allowed for pre-k students at the school I work at. All white or all black sneakers. |
