Are there any lotteries in America that require some skill, not just luck, to win?

All the lotteries I’ve come across generate numbers randomly. I’m wondering if there are ones where complex mathematical formulas are used to determine the numbers. If so, where can I find these lotteries? Thanks!

If someone knows about them they aren't going to share. For a while, DC sports betting odds were so off you could beat the house, but basically only one guy did it. You would be better off learning to play poker well.

This mathematician found one in Michigan:

He kept winning until they figured it out and ended that particular game. But basically, no, lotteries are designed to be a tax on the poor and ignorant, not a challenge for math whizzes.

There's a movie about this.

To win at the lottery you do not want to try and predict the numbers that are going to be drawn since that is a losing proposition. Your goal should be to predict the numbers that people are NOT going to play. That way when you win, you will not need to split the pot. Even better than predicting individual numbers, you should predict the sequences that people play and do not play. The data are out there, you just need to math it and have a big enough bank roll to let the odds converge.

By definition, a lottery must be a game of chance.

Sports Betting; it is like the stock market. Have to do research and then make an investment.

There are and I know one. But if this becomes public knowledge, the loophole will be closed. You understand that I won’t reveal it to you here.

Your best bet is to get a cushy remote middle management job, work 6 hours a week, get a second job doing the same set of nothings, just enough to appear busy, and rinse and repeat. It’s literally free money

Sports betting is negative sum, so it is not an investment.
