How did you find a math tutor (Arlington)?

We should have gotten one last year rather than have DH serve in the role. Did you go to one of the corporate places, look on NextDoor/MONA, ask around...What yielded a tutor you and your child were happy with?

We have been doing Mathnasium for 3 years and it has made a world of difference and bumped my kid up to a different math trajectory.

Nope! Rising 6th grade family. They are great!

Go to the schools website. Then go to the math department. Often there is a list of teachers with their specialty math. I prefer teachers because they know 1. How to teach kids and 2. What the current curriculum is

We asked a teacher at our school if she knew anyone that tutors. Tons of young teachers tutor on the side for extra cash.
