When do lottery waitlists move?

We were waitlisted for dual immersion. I know that parents had to decide by June 30, so I was hoping to hear more. Does anyone know when the waitlists move? We were not given a waitlist number. Or is the waitlist a whole new lottery system?

Nearly everyone we know that got into dual immersion wasn't excited and was thinking of dropping out after the first month- could it move at all then? Or we know parents who dropped already. We were really upset to not get in. (I wish it was based off of even a small amount of interest in the program) It's our home school, so it's not like we're trying to get into a different school. We will not be continuing in the school if we're not able to get into dual immersion (we'd gotten into a private, but would VASTLY prefer dual immersion).

Is this for Arlington? I’m confused because if you’re on the waitlist then you have a number. You can see this in your schoolmint account.

If you're in Arlington, every single option school has a waitlist. I don't know where you are on the waitlist, but at this point, you should look at your private school option. They have waitlists too and your deposit is nonrefundable by now anyway.

I don't think it's Arlington, Immersion schools aren't "home schools"

Not unless OP is talking about middle or high school. What school system, OP?
